Family Fun Day & Open House at Lawrence Montessori School

From the organizers: Lawrence Montessori School is hosting a Family Fun Day/ Open House!  The event will feature a class on "Healthy Cooking with Children" taught by the Community Mercantile, a presentation by Dr. Evans, Director of Lawrence Pediatrics titled "The importance of living a healthy lifestyle and how that helps children succeed in academics", a presentation by Dr. Colombo, Director of the Life Span Institute at KU, and a presentation by Dr. Bunce, Director of the Language Acquisition Preschool at KU.  In addition a magic/puppet show, tumbling with Lawrence Gymnastics Academy and Stretch N' Grow, family yoga classes and arts projects with Sunfire Ceramics will be available to visitors.
