Lawrence Humane Society's 17th Annual Pawsible Dream

The Pawsible Dream benefit will begin with a silent auction at 6:00 p.m. followed by a live auction at 8:00 p.m.  The "Mardi Paws" theme for the night will offer a variety of entertainment, food, drinks, raffles, and bidding on a great selection of items.  The auction benefits the Lawrence Humane Society and their continuing efforts to provide care for lost, abandoned, abused, and neglected animals.  

Items of up for this year's auction include:

• Two-night stay at the Sheraton Hotel in the French Quarter, New Orleans, including gift card for airfare on Southwest Airlines.
• Sports collectibles like a signed Muhammad Ali boxing glove and autographed Satchel Paige baseball.
• Travel packages, such as two four-night stays in Branson, Mo. and trip to Steamboat Springs, Colo.
• A personal, guided tour of the KU athletic department including football and men's basketball facilities.
• Interesting collectibles, including an autographed Rolling Stones guitar
• An abundance of KU memorabilia including a basketball signed by the 2009-2010 team and a framed magazine layout autographed by the Morris twins
• Unique packages: Be the special guest for on-field coin toss before Kansas-Oklahoma football game for your child age 6 to 14 years old, including 4 tickets to the game, sideline pass, and a youth jersey.
• The "booze wagon" returns: filled with sealed bottles of wine and beer for bidders of legal drinking age.

Price: Admission to the Pawsible Dream is $35 per person at the door. Pre-registered attendees get a $5 discount. You may also reserve an entire table for $500.  For more information, email auction@lawrencehumane.org.
