Lawrence man arrested on child porn charges
LAWRENCE - A 53 year-old Lawrence man has been charged with receiving, distributing, and possessing child pornography.
Federal prosecutors filed the charges against William Morain, Sr. The crimes allegedly happened in January and February of 2010 in Douglas County. Morain could face five to 20 years and a fine of up to $250,000 for receiving and distributing, and up to ten years for the possession charge.
