Lawrence man found dead after being reported missing

Update 3:53 p.m.: Family and friends have been told that officials have found Michael Packard's body. Around 3:00 this afternoon, friends of the 26-year old received a phone call saying Packard's body was found at Clinton State Park. Officials say no foul play is indicated and the investigation is ongoing.
Packard's friends say he was last seen at his home on January 1 and left without telling his roommate where he was going.
His friends say they began worrying and started searching for Packard when he didn't show up to work yesterday. We'll have more on 6News at 6.

A local Lawrence man has been reported missing. According to a Missing Persons flier, 26-year-old Michael Packard has been missing since New Year's Day.

 

He was last seen by his roommate at their residence. Packard left without telling his roommate was going.

 

Packard is driving a 2003 Dodge Stratus that is olive green and has Saline County tags. He's originally from Salina.

 

Packard is described as 5' 6" tall, weighs about 180 pounds, has brown hair that is waist-length and in dreadlocks, and has brown eyes.
