Attempted murder prelim begins
A Lawrence man who's charged with attempted second degree murder heard the evidence against him Wednesday afternoon, during a preliminary hearing.
One of the victims suffered a bullet wound to his leg. He's since recovered.
During the hearing, the victim told the court he saw Verner approach him in a car, point a gun and fire two shots.
The preliminary hearing continues June 6.
