My Thoughts on Saturday's Winter Weather Event
Appears light winter precip... Sleet probably will occur Saturday morning. Temps should be well below freezing during the morning. We should see a slow increase in sleet or light freezing rain during the late morning into afternoon hours.
After say about 4-5pm, precip should start to changeover to snow. Snow through about 1-2AM Sunday morning. Accumulations at this point look like 3-4" with the latest information that is now coming in.
Slippery travel possible during the day Saturday... Although still remains unclear how much precip will fall Saturday during the day... Then slick travel Saturday evening with light to moderate snow falling through midnight.
