July 24th Forecast

An Excessive Heat Warning  is in effect for Douglas, Leavenworth, & Wyandotte Counties through 8 PM Wednesday. 

Tuesday:  Temperatures remain extreme with highs around 105° with blistering sunshine expected to persist for the next couple of days.  A light south wind will provide little relief during the afternoon when heat index readings are expected to top out between 105-110°.  Overnight temperatures will only drop to 77° overnight.  Our next cooldown and rain chance doesn't come until Thursday.
