June 2-3 Forecast

Sunday:  A cluster of showers and storms passed by to our south this morning.  It kept a blanket of clouds overhead all afternoon.  Any window of opportunity for our skies to clear out today has passed.   Without that sunshine, despite a light south breeze going all day,  our highs won't get past the lower 80s.

The clouds today have somewhat complicated the thunderstorm forecast.  There is still a chance for more storm development this evening and tonight, but the clouds and cooler temps have reduced those odds.  As such, the Storm Prediction Center has moved the "slight risk" for severe weather today south of us.
