Sunday: A cold front will close in on northeast Kansas today, and give us a chance for storms late in the afternoon. However, an outflow boundary from last night's storms across Nebraska and Iowa moved into our region this morning, greatly complicating the forecast. This feature will trigger scattered storms in our area earlier than previously expected, and thus lower our highs today. WIth generally cloudy skies, and storms possible anytime, highs will likely remain in the lower 80s.
Sunday Night: Showers and storms will be around tonight, even behind the cold front. Temperatures will drop to right around 60, as an increasing northwest wind up to 10-20 mph brings in cooler and drier air.
Extended: Back to May-like weather. Lots of 70s, and lots of sun.
